We are looking for engaged and dynamic folks who are either:
A successful entrepreneur
An investor, partner at a venture capital firm, or an experienced angel investor
An experienced academic or business person
Skills Needed for Mentors:
Strong assessment skills
Strong critical thinking skills
Strong interpersonal/communication skills
Ability to work as a member of a team
Knowledge of award criteria and selection process
What is Required from each Mentor:
To Provide unbiased guidance
To bounce ideas off
To provide Strategic support and thinking
To Help the entrepreneur to prioritise
To build and grow Start up’s network
To be committed to assigned entrepreneur during the mentorship phase
The time commitment will be approximately 1-2 hours a week in December 2015. Mentoring is a rewarding experience that will see you helping a young entrepreneurial team through the challenges and hurdles of starting a new venture.
