Winners of the 8th MIT Enterprise Forum Arab Startup Competition!

April 21, 2015: Kuwait City: MIT Enterprise Forum of the Pan Arab region, with the strategic partner Abdul Latif Jameel Community Initiatives (ALJCI) and the Zain Group, announced that teams from Egypt, Jordan, Lebanon, Morocco, Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates made it to the winner’s stage at the MIT Enterprise Forum Arab Startup Competition for best start-up innovative and creative business ideas in the Arab world among 75 contesting teams from 15 Arab countries. The competition final winner’s ceremony culminating six months of planning at Symphony Style Hotel, Kuwait on the 20th of April 2015.

The three tracks that entrants applied for are: Ideas, Startups, and Social Entrepreneurship.

Startups Track:
1st Prize: Colorbug from UAE
2nd Prize: Project io from Jordan
3rd Prize: ScreenDY from Morocco

Ideas Track: 
1st Prize: Kotobna from Egypt
2nd Prize: Concure from Saudi Arabia
3rd Prize: Nano Ebers from Egypt

Social Entrepreneurship Track:

Tahir Academy from Egypt
Visualising Impact from Lebanon
La Perle de la Mer from Morocco
